Abstract
Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je utvrditi postoji li razlika u izraženosti kognitivnih deficita nakon operacije aneurizme mozgovne arterije s obzirom na lateralizaciju i lokalizaciju aneurizme. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 92 pacijenata, obaju spolova, životne dobi od 27 do 76 godina. Obuhvaćeni su pacijenti koji su vremenskom razdoblju od 1998. do 2012. godine bili podvrgnuti operaciji aneurizme mozgovnih arterija u Klinici za neurokirurgiju KBC Zagreb, Rebro. Testiranje je provedeno u periodu do 11 mjeseci nakon operacije te u periodu od 12 do 24 mjeseci nakon operacije. U 1. i 2. testiranju utvrđeno je postojanje značajne razlike rezultata početnog učenja na testu verbalno – mehaničkog pamćenja s obzirom na lateralizaciju aneurizme. U 2. testiranju dodatno je utvrđeno postojanje značajne razlike rezultata na testu kratkoročnog verbalno – logičkog te kratkoročnog i dugoročnog vizualnog pamćenja s obzirom na lateralizaciju aneurizme. S obzirom na lokalizaciju aneurizme, u 1. i u 2. testiranju utvrđena je značajna razlika rezultata na testu verbalno – mehaničkog pamćenja (početnog učenja, kapaciteta, kratkoročnog i dugoročnog pamćenja te rezultata u svim točkama krivulje učenja). U 1. testiranju s obzirom na lokalizaciju aneurizme utvrđena je značajna razlika rezultata na testu apstraktnog mišljenja te vizualnog kratkoročnog i dugoročnog pamćenja dok je u 2. testiranju značajna razlika utvrđena na testu kratkoročnog i dugoročnog vizualnog i dugoročnog verbalno – logičkog pamćenja.

The aim of this study was to determine whether there is a signifficant difference in strength of cognitive impairment after cerebral artery aneurysm surgery according to aneurysm lateralization and localization. The testing included 92 patients of both gender, whose age ranged from 27 to 76 years. The study included patients who underwent cerebral aneurysms surgery from 1998. to 2012. at the Department of Neurosurgery, University Hospital Center Zagreb, Rebro. Testing was conducted in two time periods - up to 11 months and 12 to 48 months postoperatively. 1st and 2nd testing, depending on aneurysm lateralization, resulted in statistically significant difference of immediate word recal results in first trial of verbal-mechanical memory test performance. Additionally, 2nd testing of short-term verbal-logical and short-term and long-term visual memory, depending on aneurysm lateralization, resulted in significant differences. 1st and 2nd testing, depending on aneurysm localization, resulted in statistically significant difference of verbal – mechanical memory test performance (first trial recall, memory capacity, short-term and long-term memory and learning curve results). 1st testing, depending on aneurysm localization, also resulted in significant differences in abstract reasoning, visual short-term and long-term memory test performance while the 2nd testing, resulted in significant differences in short-term and long-term visual and long-term verbal-logical memory test performance.
