Abstract

Cilj rada je pojasniti ulogu medija u poticanju aktivnog stila života i pravilne prehrane među mladima u Hrvatskoj u dobi od 18 do 30 godina. Rad se sastoji od teorijskog i istraživačkog dijela. Teorijski dio rada opisuje glavne pojmove koji se pojavljuju u radu - zdrav način života, pravilna i nepravilna prehrana, fizička aktivnost, fizičko i psihičko zdravlje, mediji i medijski sadržaji, društvene mreže i aktualni gadgeti. Osim toga, u radu je objašnjena i problematika loših životnih navika danas. U istraživačkom dijelu rada prikazani su rezultati prikupljeni online anketnim upitnikom, a sve u svrhu istraživanja o navikama mladih u Hrvatskoj. Izneseni su podaci o upućenosti mladih u medije te važnost sporta i pravilne prehrane. Spomenutim je istraživanjem utvrđeno da većina mladih koristi društvene mreže i gadgete. Od društvenih mreža najviše koriste Instagram, YouTube, Facebook i TikTok, a od gadgeta pametni sat.
Također, potvrđeno je da većina mladih smatra da medijski sadržaji utječu na razmišljanje i ponašanje ljudi koji ih prate, ali i da puno mladih zapravo ne promišlja dovoljno o važnosti tog utjecaja.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this paper is to clarify the importance of an active lifestyle and proper nutrition, and the connection of the aforementioned with the media, among young people in Croatia between the ages of 18 and 30. The paper consists of a theoretical and a research part. The theoretical part of the paper describes the main concepts that appear in the paper - healthy lifestyle, proper and improper nutrition, physical activity, physical and mental health, media and media content, social networks and currently used gadgets. In addition, the paper also explains the problem of bad lifestyle habits today. The research part of the paper presents the results collected by an online questionnaire, all for the purpose of research on the habits of young people in Croatia.
Data were presented on the awareness of young people in the media and the importance of sports and proper nutrition. The aforementioned research found that the majority of young people use social networks and gadgets. Most young people use Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and TikTok, and of the gadgets they use smart watches. It was also confirmed that the majority of young people believe that media content influences the thinking and behavior of the people who follow them, but also that many young people do not think enough about the importance of this influence.
