Abstract

Rad Odnos djece i mladih prema videoigrama ima za cilj istražiti i utvrditi navike djece i
mladih koji igraju videoigre i njihov općeniti stav prema videoigrama. Jednako tako, istražit
ćemo svjesnost djece i mladih o utjecaju videoigara na njihovo ponašanje s obzirom na
pozitivne i negativne učinke. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 148 sudionika od čega ih je 138 u
dobi od 8 do 35 godina bilo anketirano anonimno putem interneta dok je na desetorici
primijenjena metoda promatranja u razdoblju od šest mjeseci za vrijeme njihovog igranja
videoigara u jednoj zagrebačkoj računalnoj igraoni. Djecom se smatraju ispitanici do 18.
godine života, a mladima ispitanici od 18. do 35. godine života. Rezultati istraživanja
popraćeni su teorijskim dijelom o videoigrama, njihovim pozitivnim i negativnim učincima te
fenomenima kao što su esport i streamanje videoigara.

Abstract (english)

The Attitude of Children and Youths Towards Video Games aims to explore and determine the
habits of children and youths who play video games and their general attitude towards video
games. Furthermore, it explores the awareness of children and youths about the impact of
video games on their behavior considering positive and negative effects. The study involved
148 participants, of whom 138 aged 8 to 35 were surveyed anonymously via the Internet,
while the observation method was used on ten participants who were playing video games in
a Zagreb gaming arena for a period of six months. Children are considered to be up to 18
years of age, and young people are considered to be from 18 to 35 years of age. The results of
the research are accompanied by a theoretical part about video games, their positive and
negative effects, and phenomena such as esport and video game streaming.
