Bioetički aspekti medicinski potpomognute oplodnje na hrvatskim portalima

Abstract

U prvom dijelu ovoga rada govori se o bioetici, jednoj od najmlađih znanosti proizašloj iz činjenice što je biomedicina toliko napredovala, ne vodeći dovoljno računa o moralnim posljedicama svojih tehničkih dostignuća. Medicinski potpomognuta oplodnja jedna je od najosjetljivijih tema, no u ovome radu nastoji se njome osvijetliti tehničke i moralne implikacije industrije rađanja te njihovo prikazivanje u hrvatskim medijima.
Iduće poglavlje govori o medicinski potpomognutoj oplodnji. U tom se poglavlju može saznati nešto više o oplodnji u epruveti, umjetnom oplođivanju te pojmu „zamjenska majka“. Slijedi poglavlje o medicinskim tehnikama početka života, odnosno o umjetnom osjemenjivanju, GIFT-metodi i oplodnji in vitro (FIVET). Budući da se kroz cijeli rad proteže pitanje bioetičkih načela, potrebno je reći nešto o pravima embrija i djeteta te detaljnije obraditi temu etičkih pitanja umjetne oplodnje. Etički aspekti istaknuti su u svakom primjeru umjetne oplodnje u središtu kojih je uvijek ljudski zametak, ljudska ljubav te jedinstvo obitelji. Činilo se veoma bitnim istražiti i kakav je stav pojedinih religija o medicinski potpomognutoj oplodnji tako da je iznesen religijski stav najvećih svjetskih religija.
Treći dio rada sadrži rezultate istraživanja provedenog u hrvatskim medijima, odnosno na portalima Jutarnji.hr i Vecernji.hr kao i analizu dobivenih rezultata koji su popraćeni grafovima.

Abstract (english)

The first part of this work deals with bioethics, one of the youngest sciences that came to being as a result of the fact that biomedicine made substantial progress without regarding the moral consequences of its technical achievements. Assisted reproductive technology is one of the most sensitive topic, but this work is tending to shed some light on all the technical and moral implications of the birthing industry, in connection to the way these implications are represented in the media.
The following chapter deals with the topic of assisted reproductive technology. Here's out more about in vitro fertilization, artificial insemination and the term ''surrogate mother.'' This is followed by a chapter about the medical procedures of the assisted reproductive technology, that is artificial insemination, the GIFT method and in vitro fertilization (IVF or FIVET). The rights of embryos and children are positioning and deal with the topic of the ethical questions of assisted reproductive technology in more detail. For example, there is a comparison of the relationship between assisted reproductive technology and the human embryo, human love and a unique family. It seemed important to explore the stance of certain religions towards assisted reproductive technology, meaning that the stance of several religions has been introduced.
The third part of the work contains the results of a study conducted in Croatian media, that are portals Jutarnji.hr i Vecernji.hr as well as the analysis of its results, followed by diagrams
