Abstract

Cilj ovog istraživanja je bio ispitati jesu li i u kojem stupnju socio-demografske karakteristike te prijašnje postojanje psihičkih problema, stupanj kognitivnog funkcioniranja, socijalna zrelost, te stanje i crta anksioznosti povezani sa stupnjem ispitne sugestibilnosti. U istraživanju je sudjelovala 101 osoba prosječne dobi M=15.76 godina, a podaci su prikupljeni tijekom vještačenja vjerodostojnosti njihovog iskaza, odnosno vještačenja sposobnosti osobe za iskazivanje u periodu između 2008. i 2016. godine. Općenito se pokazalo da je ukupna sugestibilnosti sudionika bila veća od prosjeka populacije, dok im stanje i crta anksioznosti, socijalna zrelost te kognitivno funkcioniranje bili ispod prosjeka populacije. Veća sugestibilnosti bila je povezana sa sniženim kognitivnim funkcioniranjem i manjom socijalnom zrelošću. Set odabranih prediktora donekle dobro predviđa ukupnu ispitnu sugestibilnost, neposredno dosjećanje, promjenu i podlijeganje sugestivnom pritisku. Najbolji prediktori neposrednog dosjećanja i promjene odgovora su neverbalni i ukupni kvocijent inteligencije, a podlijeganja sugestivnom pritisku dob djeteta. Osobe niže inteligencije imale su slabije neposredno dosjećanje te veću iskazanu sugestibilnost od osoba više inteligencije; osobe niže socijalne zrelosti imaju slabije neposredno pamćenje i veću ukupnu sugestibilnost od osoba koje su socijalno zrelije; osobe kod kojih je više izražena akutna anksioznost imale su i više izraženo podlijeganje sugestivnom pritisku od osoba manje izražene akutne anksioznosti te osobe s izraženijom crtom anksioznosti imale su i lošije neposredno dosjećanje, više izraženo podlijeganje sugestivnom pritisku i veću ukupnu sugestibilnosti od osoba s manje izraženom crtom anksioznosti.

Abstract (english)

Aim of the study was to investigate if and in what degree socio-demographic characteristics, history of psychological problems, level of cognitive functioning, social maturity and state and trait anxiety predict interrogative suggestibility. Data were collected from 101 children (Mage=15.76) during their forensic assessment, between 2008 and 2016. Generally, interrogative suggestibility of the sample was below population average, while state and trait anxiety, social maturity and cognitive functioning were above population average. Higher suggestibility was related to lower cognitive functioning and lower social maturity. Predictors fairly good predicted general interrogative suggestibility, immediate memory, Shift and Yield in Bonn test of statement suggestibility, and in Gudjonsson’s scale of interrogative suggestibility. Immediate memory and Shift were the best predicted by nonverbal and general IQ, and Yield by child's age. Children with lower IQ remembered less details and were more suggestible than children with higher IQ; children who were less socially mature remembered less details and were more suggestible than children who were more socially mature; children with higher state anxiety showed higher Yield than children with lower state anxiety; and children with higher trait anxiety showed lower immediate memory, higher Yield, greater general suggestibility than children with lower trait anxiety.
