Abstract

Cilj istraživanja je bio prikazati i donekle usporediti značajke telefonskog i Internet savjetovanja. Podaci su prikupljeni 2012. godine kao zapisnici telefonskih (1114 zapisnika), odnosno e-mail savjetovanja (876 zapisnika) u sklopu Psihološkog centra Tesa. U obje vrste savjetovanja oko 70% klijenata bile su žene dok je u telefonskom bilo 17,3% muškaraca, a e-mail savjetovanju 27,3%. U telefonskom savjetovanju najviše su se javljali klijenti u starosti 30-49 godina, povremeno zaposleni i zaposleni, a u e-mail savjetovanju u starosti 20-29 godina, studenti i zaposleni. U telefonskom savjetovanju klijenti su najviše pričali o nezadovoljstvu uvjetima života, zabrinutosti za drugu osobu, nezadovoljstvu sobom, usamljenosti i donošenju odluka te su navodili probleme u odnosima s partnerom, djetetom i članovima obitelji. Muškarci su relativno češće nego žene govorili o nezadovoljstvu slobodnim vremenom te više pričali o pseudofilozofskim problemima i problemima s roditeljima. S druge strane, žene su značajno češće kao problem iznosile zabrinutost za druge osobe nego muškarci te su relativno češće spominjale da imaju problema s djecom. E-mail savjetovatelji najviše su procjenjivali da su klijenti nezadovoljni sobom i da su zabrinuti za drugu osobu, da su iskazivali probleme s depresivnošću i anksioznošću te s ljubavnim partnerima. Žene u e-mail savjetovanju bile su relativno zabrinutije za druge osobe nego muškarci te su isto tako bile relativno nezadovoljnije uvjetima života, navodile su više problema s ovisnostima, s djecom i ostalim članovima obitelji, te su se češće javljale kao žrtve zlostavljanja. Muškarci su imali relativno više problema s ostalim stanjima, poput ljubomore i nesanice, te su iskazivali veću anksioznost i depresivnost.

Abstract (english)

The aim was to show and to some extent compare features of phone and Internet counseling. The data was collected in 2012. as records of telephone (1114 records) and e-mail consultation (876 records) as part of the Psychological Centre Tesa. In both types of counseling about 70% clients were women while in the telephone counseling 17.3% and in the e-mail counseling 27,3% were with men. In telephone counseling most clients was 30-40 years old, employed occasional and fully employed and in e-mail counseling most clients were 20-29 years old, students and employed. In telephone counseling clients talked most about dissatisfaction with living conditions, concern for others, dissatisfaction with themselves, lonesiness, making decisions and have had problems in relationship with their partner, child and family members. Men are relatively more likely than women to talk about dissatisfaction with free time and talked more about pseudophilosofical problems and problems with parents. On the other hand, women are significantly more concerned for others than men and are relatively more likely to mention that they have problems with their children.
E-mail counselors have estimated that most clients are dissatisfied with themselves and they are concerned for the other person, have had problems with depression and anxiety, and with romantic partners. Women in the e-mail counseling were relatively more concerned for others than men and are also relatively dissatisfied with living conditions, have had more problems with addictions children and other family members, and occurred more frequently as victims of abuse. Men have had relatively more problems with other conditions, such as jealousy, insomnia, etc., are more anxious and depressed.
